How many years have you lived constantly wrinkling your nose at your reflection in the mirror? Wishing you had the long thin legs or the perfect nose. It’s the nature of the beast, I know. Believe me. Surrounded by photoshopped images making us all feel inferior. Making us all wish for something we don’t have.

I challenge you. I challenge you to a new way of thinking. It’s time to love your body. Acceptance will promote love. Love will promote peace. Peace. It’s something you can create, it’s something you have control over. So why would you not want to live within your skin and bones in peace.

Acceptance takes time and practice. Habits are formed after years of comparing and belittling. Your body is the most beautiful machine there is. It’s perseverance is unmatched. It’s there for you, everyday. Even after not enough sleep or bad food or too much bubbly, it shows up. It keeps you upright and gives you a warm and healthy home. Let’s start treating our body with the respect it deserves! I challenge you to wake up, look at yourself in the mirror and thank your body. Thank your eyes for seeing, your heart for beating, your legs for carrying you. Mean it. Feel it. Hear it. Be sincere.

Thank your body. Show it love. Then, the comparisons will start to diminish. You will have created the self love and acceptance of the beautiful body you were given. With that acceptance comes the realization of self-sabotage. With that realization comes goals being set and attained. Those goals being attained enters you into the new world of loving what you have and have accomplished. Then, miraculously, not feeling the need to want for anything else.

Realizing… What you have is perfectly perfect.
