There’s got to be more to life…
I’m tired of “all or nothing”, “Do it 100% or don’t do it at all” attitudes. The older I get, the more I realize that we are all just living this life… Trying to make it through as healthy as possible. I haven’t worked out in 4 days and I ate and drank more than I should have this past weekend… Should I wake up on Monday morning feeling anger and regret for not living the health and fitness lifestyle religiously or should I be thankful that I had a weekend away with my friends? I will choose the latter… Why beat ourselves up, constantly? Live your life healthfully and intermittently interject the fun times that may not be as healthy. It’s the 80/20 rule. Live by it. No, you won’t look like the girls that you see in fitness magazines, but you will carry memories and experiences with you plus a healthy peace of mind and a healthy body. Always. Find YOUR happy medium and live it.
