This chapter of my life is called Happiness. This is my Soul Space…

I smile. I sweat. I motivate. I live. Realistically and Beautifully.

•Heavy weights…not 4.5 lb. dumbbells.

•Eggs and oatmeal for breakfast…not cereal!!!

•4-5 workouts a week…not 2 a day.

•Heavy workout, more clean food…not less calories.

•No workout for the day, less calories…not extra servings.

•Fruit…not candy.

•Eat until you’re satisfied…not full!

•Smile…don’t frown.

Happiness in a blender.

Let’s do a shake challenge again! 4 mornings a week make a bucket of goodness for yourself. Spinach, Kale, berries, apple, carrots and a banana. Mix with almond milk or water and a scoop or two of vanilla whey or pea protein. It’s a little slice of heaven! It will give you the vitamins you need to pep up your day and it’s very filling! Try it… now!

Happy Halloween!!

What a great life we live! We have a day dedicated to costumes and witches and candy. On this day, everyone eats a little more than they should and gets to dress like whatever the heck they want to. It’s an escape from the realness of life, mostly. Tomorrow reality will set in and we will all go back to normal life… dressing in normal people clothes, going to the gym and saying NO to the candy. So, today… Enjoy! Have that mini Snickers bar and run through the streets like crazy people tonight! Be safe, and have fun!!

2 posts ago I said you need to choose to commit to your goals and now I post that you need to have the 80/20 lifestyle. I just want to clarify, so no one is confused… I believe that committing to a healthy lifestyle can be attained by living the 80/20 lifestyle. 100% ALL THE TIME may be unrealistic. I’m all about realism.

Do as much as you want… Just DO!

There’s got to be more to life…
I’m tired of “all or nothing”, “Do it 100% or don’t do it at all” attitudes. The older I get, the more I realize that we are all just living this life… Trying to make it through as healthy as possible. I haven’t worked out in 4 days and I ate and drank more than I should have this past weekend… Should I wake up on Monday morning feeling anger and regret for not living the health and fitness lifestyle religiously or should I be thankful that I had a weekend away with my friends? I will choose the latter… Why beat ourselves up, constantly? Live your life healthfully and intermittently interject the fun times that may not be as healthy. It’s the 80/20 rule. Live by it. No, you won’t look like the girls that you see in fitness magazines, but you will carry memories and experiences with you plus a healthy peace of mind and a healthy body. Always. Find YOUR happy medium and live it.

Get back at it!!

It’s a great time to get back at it!! If you’ve taken a “break”, get back into the habit of exercise BEFORE the holidays hit. You will thank yourself on January 1st.

Commit or Don’t. There’s no grey area there…

I’ve been having this thought lately about commitment. Your success or lack thereof in ANYTHING is a direct relation to your amount of commitment. It’s basic really, but it’s a thought that will slip by us unless we focus on it. If you sign up for a weight loss program and you only give it 50%, how can you blame the program for not working? If you are in a relationship and you only give it 50%, how can you blame the other person for not being “the one”? It all runs on the same lines right? Make a deal with yourself, today. Commit to something. Give it your all. Give it every healthy piece of thought and intention you have to give it. Then, see how successful your results are. Did you lose the weight you wanted to lose? Were you able to see that you are, in fact, completely capable of having a healthy relationship and able to stop blaming your partner? Pretty cool stuff, huh? Then, all areas of your life will be running smoothly because you’ve committed to committing! Make it a healthy lifestyle habit and who knows where your life will take you! The possibilities are endless.

Brilliant. That’s all I can say about this…

So the main problem with Peanut Butter is the added hydrogenated oils Skippy and Jif use to make their peanuts blend together in smooth goodness. Welp, here is the answer to all of our peanut butter problems my friends!! Real peanuts mixed with Coconut Oil!! So you get the smooth and creamy texture and it’s good for you!! Oh, and it tastes like a little scoop of heaven. Key word, little. Enjoy in moderation.
