•It’s not a bad thing if you just eat veggies and hummus for dinner.

•You don’t need to work out like a crazy person every day. 3-4 days of sweat with weights for 30 minutes and 2 days of yoga and/or walking is all you need if you eat clean. If you choose to eat pizza regularly, you will need more.

•Don’t grocery shop hungry. Actually, don’t ever get hungry… Always have snacks. Always stay fueled. Hunger will always win over willpower.

•Veggies will fill you up. Promise.

•If you don’t have a gym membership you can do squat jumps, push-ups, lunges, dips and sit-ups. In that order. Sets of 12-10-8-6-4 for every exercise and you will get a great workout. Boom.

•Drink water (100oz please) with cucumber and lemon/lime in it. It’s a little slice of heaven.

•Make breakfast your largest, hearty meal and dinner your cleanest and smallest.

•Don’t be afraid of lifting weights ladies. It will increase your metabolism and decrease the sag. (For those of us not in our 20’s anymore.)

•Wine can be your friend, as can a good burger. All in moderation on days you’ve worked out. Don’t deprive yourself…

•Drink coffee with a tablespoon of coconut oil and a smidge of almond milk mixed in. It’s like healthy crack. You’re welcome.

•Eat 1/4 cup of almonds, walnuts or cashews with both of your daily snacks. Fat will not make you fat.

•Always take the stairs. With a smile.

•Be thankful for your body, energy and health you have to get up and go, daily. Self appreciation and gratitude goes a long way.

•Stop counting calories!!! Listen to your hunger, energy and craving levels and adjust your exercise and food intake accordingly.

•Smile. Laugh. Sweat. Eat. Love. Sleep. Repeat.
